February 7, 2010 – What can I say? I’m not one who normally shooting pinup, but was recently approached by Brandi to give it a try. Here is the best pic of the bunch; not sure if it was in my comfort zone, but at least I tried~

February 6, 2010 – It’s always a pleasure working with Jess! Fresh from her modeling competition victory (the details escape me, but she was basically voted the new face for a Chicago-based promo company), we scheduled another shoot to capture some of the looks that we didn’t snap the first time around. Michaeline

December 28, 2009 – Biochemistry student. Breakdancer. Model. Miko definitely has her hands full. She was an absolute pleasure to work with~ next time we shoot together, I’ll be sure to grab some shots of some freezes!

Emily

December 28, 2009 – After a good week off galavanting the US and Canada (namely Boston and Montreal), I came back to a heavy day of shooting. Emily (dancer living in LA) and Rachael (recently accredited makeup artist based out of Chicago) contacted me to shoot a couple of headshots to expand both their portfolios. Focusing on the makeup, I’ve posted a couple of headshots that highlight exactly that (i.e. Rachael’s excellent work)… and as you can see, Emily makes it look easy.

Katie and Ryan

December 13, 2009 – Hailing for Lake Zurich, IL and Kenosha, WI respectively, Katie and Ryan made the ‘long’ drive into Chicago to work with yours truly. Both are aspiring teachers, yet make the time to enjoy themselves in front of the camera (and it shows).

It’s been a busy weekend, but this will be my final in studio portraiture installment before the holidays (unless of course, something that I can’t pass up comes along).
