February 27, 2010 – It’s always great traveling back to the homeland, but this past weekend was my chance to show two close friends (from Chicago) the city that I know best~ Montreal, Quebec, Canada. There was plenty of food and drink to be had, yet we made it back alive; here are a couple of pictures to prove it!
It’s a wintery Saturday in Chicago and Rachel and I are stranded in Midway (destination Boston) until they can find some flight attendants to ‘man’ our flight. In the meantime, the two of us are stuck people watching. Case and point, the attached picture represents the epitome of the Young Budget Traveller (credit goes to Rachel for noticing this *baller-in-the-making*). I can’t help but laugh when I see his reading material~
