June 29, 2010 – Here are a couple of shots from Vin’Keia and Aaron’s recent engagement photoshoot. Both living in Hyde Park, not only was this shoot a great excuse for me to photograph such a radiant couple, but also introduced me to another great facet of Chicago.
June 20, 2010 – There’s no hiding my love for food. If there’s one thing I love shooting most, food lifestyle photography would be at the *top* of the list (not to be mistaken with food photography). I don’t know what it is, but there’s something about capturing the care and artistry that goes into preparing a meal that excites me (and makes me hungry). As you’ll notice, a lot of the images focus more on the people that prepare the food rather than the food itself (not to discredit to the food, of course).
Since moving to Chicago, I’ve had very little opportunity to work in a kitchen whereas when in Montreal, I was able to not only to document the kitchen life at Joe Beef (might I add, one of Montreal’s most prestigious restaurants), but slaved in the kitchen as well.
With that said, Chef David Carriere of Kith and Kin graciously invited me to get my feet wet in his kitchen as a prep cook AND as the house photographer. If you were wondering, this photography site won’t transform into a food blog (yet), but… well.. you never know. February 7, 2010 – What can I say? I’m not one who normally shooting pinup, but was recently approached by Brandi to give it a try. Here is the best pic of the bunch; not sure if it was in my comfort zone, but at least I tried~

February 6, 2010 – It’s always a pleasure working with Jess! Fresh from her modeling competition victory (the details escape me, but she was basically voted the new face for a Chicago-based promo company), we scheduled another shoot to capture some of the looks that we didn’t snap the first time around.
